COMPOSITION OF PHILRATINGS’ RATING COMMITTEE (RC)
The RC is a group within PhilRatings which is tasked to assign issue and issuer credit ratings to accounts which are evaluated by the company.
The RC, at any time, will be composed of the following voting members:
1. The President and CEO and/or Officer-in-Charge of PhilRatings who also acts as Chairman and/or Acting Chairman of the RC.
2. All full-time analysts of PhilRatings who have been with the company for at least one year.
RATING COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The names and qualifications of PhilRatings’ RC members are shown below:
1. Ms. Angelica B. Viloria
President and RC Chairperson
Ms. Viloria has more than 28 years of credit rating experience, having started as a Senior Analyst handling manufacturing and property development accounts. Prior to joining PhilRatings, she was an Assistant Professor at the College of Business Administration at U.P. Diliman, handling Quantitative Analysis, Marketing, and Management courses. She is a Bachelor of Science in Economics (magna cum laude) and a Master of Business Administration graduate, also from U.P.
2. Ms. Lourdes B. Tabarina
Vice President and Head – Credit Rating – Financial Institutions; RC member
Ms. Tabarina has more than 26 years of credit rating experience, having started as an Analyst handling banks and other financial institutions. She has a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Colegio de San Juan de Letran and is a Bachelor in Banking and Finance graduate (magna cum laude) from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Ms. Tabarina also has six years of work experience in the area of investments, having worked previously as an Investment Assistant at Manulife Financial and as a Portfolio Manager at Westmont Bank.
3. Mr. Bertrand Gil C. Indiongco
Vice President and Head – Credit Rating – Corporates and Structured Finance; RC member
Mr. Indiongco has almost 14 years of credit rating experience, having started as an Analyst handling corporate accounts. He is a Bachelor of Arts in Management Economics graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University. Mr. Indiongco has passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1.
4. Ms. Ann Louise E. Casabuena
Senior Analyst; RC member
Ms. Casabuena has more than five years of credit rating experience. She is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management graduate (cum laude) from the University of Santo Tomas. Ms. Casabuena has four years of work experience in the banking sector, having worked previously as an Operational Analyst for Deutsche Bank AG.
5. Ms. Patrisha Mae P. Concepcion
Senior Analyst; RC member
Ms. Concepcion has almost five years of credit rating experience. She has a Master of Applied Mathematics, Major in Mathematical Finance from the Ateneo de Manila University. She also finished her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with Specialization in Mathematical Finance from the same university where she enjoyed a full scholarship.
6. Ms. Aline Lei A. Abon
Senior Analyst; RC member
Ms. Abon joined PhilRatings on April 16, 2019 as an Analyst II and has almost four years of credit rating experience. She has a Master of Applied Mathematics, Major in Mathematical Finance from the Ateneo de Manila University. She also finished her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with Specialization in Mathematical Finance from the same university where she enjoyed a scholarship. She also graduated from the Main Campus of Philippine Science High School with High Honors.
7. Ms. Joan Grace P. Bual
Senior Analyst; RC member
Ms. Bual joined PhilRatings on June 3, 2019 as an Analyst II and has almost four years of credit rating experience. She is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from Ateneo de Cagayan – Xavier University, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2014. She worked with Deutsche Bank AG Manila as a Senior Fund Accountant for more than three years.
8. Ms. Denise S. Montecastro
Senior Analyst; RC member
Ms. Montecastro joined PhilRatings on June 3, 2019 as an Analyst II and has almost four years of credit rating experience. She graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2017 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. Prior to joining PhilRatings, she worked with S&P Global Manila as a Client Services Associate for more than a year.
9. Mr. Mark Anthony R. Sombrero
Analyst; RC member
Mr. Sombrero joined PhilRatings on July 15, 2019 and has almost four years of credit rating experience. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) with a Bachelor in Banking and Finance (cum laude) in 2019.
